2nd Gen Broncos have been on a tear lately. From Mecum to Barrett to BaT they are way up. Drivers like this one are a rare opportunity nowadays. Broncos this solid are nearly unheard of too. Take a look at the undercarriage pics, this one is in rarified air when it comes to rust and original panels.
This Bronco was recently repainted in it's factory two-tone brown & white configuration. This is a driver-quality repaint that is quite presentable but not by any means a restoration quality endeavor. The panels appear to be the rust free originals and this is about as rust free of a Bronco as you will see. The tailgate, doors, fenders, quarters and tailgate all appear to be the 'born with' rust free examples. Even the floors & frame mounts wear their original paint and look amazing. The chrome & bright trim were cleaned up for the repaint and look nice.
Inside the interior has been nicely cleaned up and new carpet added the the front cabin. The factory seat upholstery and door panels are in place and do show wear. The front seats have covers as the original upholstery is still there but quite worn. The rear seat is in great condition. The rear glass is a common issue in these. This rear window works easily with the dash mounted switch.
Engine wise this one appears to be the original 400 with an upgraded 4 barrel intake manifold and carburetor. There are numerous new components throughout the engine compartment like the alternator, brake booster & master, starter solenoid, belts, hoses and more! The C6 automatic shifts nicely. Lots of new & refreshed components underneath with a rebuilt rear driveshaft clearly visible.
