This 1960 Ford Starliner comes from the Special Ford Galaxy line. The Starliner is the 2 door fastback version of the Galaxie where-as the Sunliner was the Convertible version, and both can be extremely difficult to find in this condition! Wearing a beautiful coat of Raven Black paint, the pictures really don't do this car justice. You just cant capture the depth of the paint through a camera lens. The New 18" American Racing Torque Thrust Rims and Tires complete the look and fill the well's nicely, and if you desire, the Rear skirts are also in excellent condition and are paint matched.

The Interior looks great. The front and rear seats are Black Vinyl with Black Pebble-Cloth inserts and present quite well. Newer Black carpet and door cards have been installed to complete the interior but the remaining components appear to be fairly original. An updated stereo has been installed but remains in the factory location and leaving the dash un-cut.

Originally, this Starliner was equipped with a 352ci V8, but that was later changed to the more desirable 390 Thunderbird engine (which was a factory option). For better engine cooling, an aluminum larger capacity radiator has been installed. The engine is mated to a Cruise-O-Matic transmission and power gets transmitted to the ground through a 2.91:1 rear end. Equipped with Manual Drum Brakes and Manual steering, you can really feel the road as you cruise, and the large steering wheel helps assist you in tight turns. Overall, The Starliners are getting harder and harder to find in similar condition. This particular one gets looks and compliments everywhere it goes and the public just loves the natural body lines. This Car is ready to drive and enjoy immediately!
