This is a cool & unique 68 with a pedigree. Currently it is wearing a beautiful coat of Spruce Green on a solid body. The 347 runs quite well and sounds amazing backing up those good looks. What sets this car apart from the herd is its original equipment of Raven Black paint, Black Decor interior and the J-Code 302 4V engine. When this car is ready to restore some time in the future a restoration back to stock appearance should happen.

The paint shines nicely and has a nice deep gloss. In some angles it appears dark green the bursts to life in the sun. The paint is older and does have some imperfections from use. The panels line up well and there are no obvious signs of rust. There have been repairs done to the lower quarter panels and trunk drop offs but the trunk floors are still quite nice as are the frame rails and torque boxes. The passenger door corner does have a crack at the front corner, see pics.

The body has been stiffened with sub-frame connectors and the 9" axle has locator brackets as well.

Inside the interior is in beautiful condition with reproduction seat upholstery, carpet, dash pad and door panels. This one has the fold down rear seat and overhead console as well. The interior originally was a Décor package with woodgrain trim on the dash and door panels.

Under the hood the 302 has reportedly been replaced with a 347 Cubic Inch Stroker. We do not have any specific receipts to specify the engine. We did remove the valve covers to confirm the cylinder heads are JDS ported 1969 351 Windsor units that have roller rockers. The intake manifold has been upgraded to a Performer RPM with a Holley 3310-2 750cfm carburetor fitted to the top of it. The engine does fire up easily and has a nice lope to the idle, check out the video!

The rear differential is a 9" unit that has been fitted with 3.70 gearing and a Limited Slip carrier.

This one still uses the factory Power Front Disc Brakes along with the rear drums. They work nice and stop very well.
