This Freshly finished out Bronco came to us with a HUGE file of receipts from Tom’s Broncos. These were not just parts receipts but a ton of assembly labor as well. Tom’s installed the power steering, disc brakes, NV3500 transmission, tilt column, heavy duty cooling system and more.
This Bronco build was geared toward a daily driver. With only a 2 ½” lift it still steers easily, handles great and you won’t lose any style points getting in & out of a Bronco with a larger lift. The suspension is still very capable of off road excursions that Broncos are famous for. The combination of a lower lift as well as the improved bushings allow for comfortable alignment specs and easy freeway cruising.
Inside the Tom’s seats were installed 2 years ago but still look nice. We installed new carpet, door panels and some new trim bits. The carpet will keep the cab insulated from both heat & sound for a nicer all around driver.
The dash was repainted with the body. It is hard to miss thatDakota Digital Instrument Cluster. It is fully functional and provides easy to read digital read outs and a modern look.
The factory fixed column was replaced with an aftermarket tilt column by Tom’s as well. It adjusts nicely with comfortable angles as well as an easier entrance or exit for passengers of all sizes.
The complete wiring harness was professionally replaced with a Centech harness. The installation was very clean and the upgrade to a modern fuse box will be highly appreciated down the road when any upgrades are made.
We upgraded the headlights to JW Speaker headlights. If you have never seen or used these, they are incredible. We also upgraded the tail lights to LED light panels. These tail lights are extremely bright and are easily seen in any light situation. This is the same lighting technology used on 2015 Fords.
Under the hood the 302 has been messaged with a desirable Edelbrock F4B Intake Manifold, Street Avenger Carburetor, Performance Camshaft, MSD Ignition, Tom’s Long Tube Headers, etc. It fires up easily and has great power.
The NV3500 is an excellent modern transmission with a nice gear spread. 1st gear is fully synchronized and 5th gear is an overdrive. Clutch engagement is smooth and predicable making this an easy Bronco to drive for anyone.
We upgraded the wheels to Fuel Trophy’s 17” x 9”. The wheel really looks nice with a simple design that makes them easy to clean & maintain. The bead lock is simulated and the paint matches the body color well. They fit inside the wheel wells unlike many wheels so your Bronco will stay cleaner and will be a bit quieter on the road as well.
The Toyo ATII tires are incredible, we tried one set on a Bronco and have been using them religiously since. They drive extremely well on the Broncos thanks to a squared shoulder and the combination of the tread pattern & rubber compound make them excellent on & off road tires.
The bumpers are heavy duty ‘Impact Bumpers’ from Tom’s. They have been powder coated for a long lasting and durable finish. The front bumper has a winch mount if you would like to add one. The rear bumper has a swing away spare tire mount capable of supporting the full size spare with confidence.
The undercarriage has been cleaned & painted to keep it looking great and protect it from rust & corrosion.
This Bronco is ready for sunny day cruising or even as a daily driver. A lot of work has been done to make it a safe, fun & reliable cruiser.
