This is a Gorgeous 4-owner Pantera that has been garage stored since 1976. The second owner (76-91) was a Ford technician who used factory components to maintain the car. He was also a paint technician with Ford and repainted the car in the original Fly Yellow. The 3rd owner (91-06) was an attorney in Coos Bay, Oregon who contracted to have the Pantera restored in 1994.

Only some of the detailed documentation of the restoration has survived with the car. During the restoration, several performance modifications were added to bring the horsepower up to a reported 405. It is reported that during the restoration the odometer had read 38,000 miles was reset to 0, it now reads just over 1900. The third owner (06-15) was a published writer in the Denver, Colorado area. The car was used for occasional shows, had very limited use and documented maintenance from specialized shops.

This owner chose to upgrade the cooling system with new hoses, a huge custom aluminum radiator and high performance cooling fans to keep this Pantera cool on the hottest days.

The paint still presents very well thanks to limited use and excellent care. The body is in great condition thanks to a life lived indoors and out of the rain. The frame rails are in excellent condition, a rarity among Panteras.

The factory chrome & anodized aluminum trim is in excellent condition another testament to a pampered life indoors. The interior is in excellent condition. The factory dash, door panels & interior trim likewise show very little of the common ailments of the breed.

The factory gauges present like new with clear lenses, bright numeric’s with precise movements.

Mechanically the car works very well. It behaves much like a low mile, well maintained car should. The 351 Cleveland runs excellent with plenty of power thanks to some modest performance upgrades.

The ZF Transaxle shifts precisely through the factory shifter. The clutch engages nicely and the car is very easy to drive. The steering and suspension are tight & precise.  The cooling system upgrade is a really important upgrade that remedies a very common cooling problem in the breed.
