The Cougar market is currently the most active we have seen. Prices have been rising consistently for years. The demand though has really picked up the last couple of years and has only seemed to intensify as of late. Our offerings typically don't last the a week for nice driver cars.

This car carries a good mix of some of the most sought after options on a super solid body. The Burnt Orange Metallic Paint, which is the same as Ford's Indian Fire, is one of the most popular colors on these cars. This car is still in its original paint for the most part, the passenger door was replaced at some point. Rust wise, this car is quite solid. Just take a look at the floor pics that still show the bright original paint. The doors and quarters are also in great shape rust wise though there is some damage on the passenger rear quarter behind the tire.

Inside the interior is complete and with some cleaning & carpet, it could be used. The factory bucket seats, rim blow steering wheel and convertible top switch are still in place.

Under the hood the 351 appears complete down to the original C9Z 4 Barrel Carburetor. The motor was completely disassembled then it was reassembled for shipping. It has no gaskets so it will have to have a complete rebuild. The FMX automatic is in place as well, it too should be at least inspected prior to use. Again, it looks like everything is there, but it will need a complete rebuild!

The power front disc brakes are still in place including the power brake booster, rotors, calipers, etc. The power steering is also still in place. This one has sat for some time so a full service is warranted.

This car will make a great project for the right enthusiast. The normal rust that plagues these cars is quite minimal almost to the point of calling this one rust free. Obviously the car will need a complete but with mostly original paint, gorgeous floor pans with original paint in place and not a lot missing it should be a straight forward restoration. With companies like West Coast Classic Cougar it really takes much of the difficulty out of parts acquisition.
