1965 Mustang
Sold!
Rare Factory 'A' Code 289 4V
4-Speed Manual Transmission
Front Disc Brakes
Tidy Black Bucket Seat Interior
'GT' Style Instrumentation
The First Gen Mustangs are still one of the best bargains out there. No other car inspires 'Americana' like a Mustang. This one is optioned well with a 289, 4 Speed and front Disc Brakes. GT stripes and vintage looking Torque Thrust wheels are a timeless touch.
This one is best described as a driver. It's wearing a driver quality repaint of Oxford White with a Pearl clear coat. There have been some touch ups and there are some imperfections. Call this one a 10-footer.
Inside the interior looks quite nice. There is some wear but overall the seat upholstery fits nicely, carpet looks fresh and the 'GT' style instrumentation is a nice touch.
Under the hood the 289 fires up easily and runs quite well. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts nicely both up and down the pattern. The clutch engages smoothly with an easy pedal effort.
The front disc brakes are a desirable upgrade. Braking on this Mustang feels great with good pedal feel and quick, reliable stopping. The dual reservoir master is a super popular upgrade for these Mustangs as the originals were just a single reservoir master.
The wheels are Wheel Vintiques 16" x 8" pieces with 225 50's. They really fill up the wheel wells and fit quite well.
