You have to be a Ford Truck Geek to truly appreciate this truck. These were a one year only offering. The very last of this iconic body style and the very first F350 4x4's produced by Ford. Ford went big with the Dana 60 front axle. This one was ordered with the Ranger XLT trim, which spec'd out with miles of aluminum side trim, wheel well moldings, deluxe interior and chrome bumpers. This truck was also a 'Trailer Special'. Basically a Cowboy Cadillac.

Obviously this one has some 'Patina' with plenty of scratches and such. The bed has the typical rust over the wheel wells. Thankfully the aftermarket has repair panels finally. There is some of the typical rust in the cab but not nearly as bad as many. There are lots of pics above. If you don't see a specific one you are looking for please let us know.

Inside the interior was well optioned with Tilt Steering Column. A day-2 CB radio is still in place. The original heater controls are still in place and the system functions as it should sans the system charge. The original seat was replaced with a later model unit that is quite comfortable. If you want to go back to stock we do have a frame for you.

Under the hood the 400 CID V8 runs very well with surprising power. The previous owner stated that it was a 380HP build and from what it feels like we would have to agree with that. It has an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 1406 carburetor, performance camshaft and long tube headers. It fires up easily and sounds very good with a deep note and a mild lope to the idle.

Rolling stock consists of old school 5-slot mags with 33 12.50 16.5 BF Goodrich All Terrains. The tires have about 90% tread but are older with some weather checking so we would recommend replacing them prior to any dedicated street use.
