This ’67 S-Code Fastback is one of the nicest examples around! With a reported $70k into the restoration this Mustang is sure to impress. The overall product is truly impressive with nice panel alignment, a deep gloss to the paint, perfect stance and an exhaust note that would make John Force weak in the knees.

The hardest thing on this car is where to start bragging!

The body is very nice with a very high end paint job. The door, trunk & engine compartment jams are all very nice with a smoothed finish on the factory seams, the body-man even polished the paint in the jams. The trunk area was completely stripped and shot in base. The normal areas that painters often miss such as the rockers & trunk drop offs are all quite nice with full paint coverage. The exterior panels are very straight with a beautiful deep luster, this car truly glows. The stainless components have been polished and the chrome items replaced with quality reproductions.

Take a good look at the photos, this is a very impressive car. This car is easily nice enough for your weekend shows and sunny day cruising.

Inside the Gorgeous Black Décor Interior the seat upholstery, carpet, door panels, dash pad, dash bezels, headliner, etc have all been replaced with quality reproduction units. The brushed aluminum gauge bezels are one of the best looking designs of any production car made. When the seats were restored the buns were replaced and the factory upholstery was replaced with real Leather.

They are extremely comfortable and look incredible.

Under the hood the 390 was massaged with some serious hardware. To begin with the engine was fitted with Forged Pistons then the rotating assembly was balanced. A 550 lift Comp camshaft with Cloyes double roller chain was installed and the rocker arms were replaced with 427 adjustable units. The C4AE high flowing cylinder heads were fitted with 428CJ stainless steel units, Comp Cams valve springs and titanium retainers. The oiling system was upgraded with a high volume oil pump, HD drive shaft and a Canton 7 quart oil pan. A full MSD ignition system with billet distributor, coil & wires keeps things lit. An AED double pumper carburetor keeps plenty of properly mixed air & fuel flowing into the motor.

The long tube headers flow into 2 ½” Stainless exhaust with an X pipe. The engine revs like a trip-hammer and is very rewarding to drive.

The C6 Automatic Transmission has been rebuilt and upgrades include a stage II shift kit, 2500 rpm stall converter and a HUGE extra capacity finned aluminum oil pan. The transmission goes into gear quickly, shifts firmly (not abusively) and just really ‘Works’. It downshifts quickly and always seems to know just what you are going to do and shifts intuitively.

A MASSIVE radiator from Be Cool has been shoe horned into place. It fills up the core support from frame rail to frame rail. 2 large electric fans are thermostatically controlled and keep this big block tamed in even the hottest environments. Should A/C ever be installed, this radiator will easily deal with the extra load.

The braking system works beautifully. With 12” Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners, you have no problem hauling this beast down from triple digit speeds in a hurry. Stops come quickly and effortlessly.

The suspension and steering have all been completely rebuilt. Heavy duty front sway bar, higher rate springs, urethane bushings, heavy duty bracing you name it, this car has it all. It tracks nicely down the road and feels confident at high speed.

There are some highway miles on the car, so there are some minor stone chips from driving, but again very minor and not easily noticed. This car is an excellent opportunity for a very good investment that you can actually enjoy. Take a look at Hagerty Classic Car Values and note the value graph and how fast the values on these cars are growing!
