Well, it's Spring again and time to get to work on your project. Just in case your garage is devoid of one...or you need another??? Here is a fun, low-dollar option.

This '68 is a great start. The floors, frame rails & torque boxes are solid. Obviously this one is cosmetically challenged...makes a great 'before' pic. However, the aftermarket has Mustangs so dialed there really isn't much that isn't available from the reproduction market from multiple manufacturers which drives quality up and prices down. Whether you want to stay stock or go for the gold with a fastback roof conversion the sky truly is the limit for this car. 

The 289 runs quite well and has an aftermarket intake manifold & carburetor for a bit of extra HP. It has been sitting for some time so it will need some attention as the previous owner replaced the soft plugs with rubber units that seep. The C4 goes into gear correctly. The power steering works properly. The braking system was just treated to a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders so this one is one step closer to salvation. Obviously those tires aren't up to road use but picking a new wheel & tire combo is one of the most rewarding and immediate upgrades anyways.
