This '67 GTO Convertible is a very well optioned specimen. A full report from Pontiac Historical Society proves this car is one of very few convertibles to have come with the H.O. 400 engine. Beyond the engine option many other highly desirable options were chosen such as the 3.55 Ratio Safe-T-Track Differential, Head-Rest Seats, Power Steering, Power Brakes and more. You will be hard pressed to find a more complete and desirable optioned car.

The body of this GTO is quite impressive. The quarter panels, floors, dash, A-pillars all appear to be solid born-with metal. Panel alignment is nice and the paint has a deep shine. There are the normal imperfections of an older paint job such as small chips, overall it looks nice though. This isn't a show car, but a nice looking driver.

Inside the interior looks very nice in its factory Parchment trim. The bucket seats wear the rare 'Headrest' option. The original Tach and Gauges package works properly and looks great with the high end woodgrain trim. Overall this is a very impressive interior.

Under the hood the WT coded 400 is not the numbers matching YZ block but does wear the rare correct HO specific exhaust manifolds and 670 cylinder heads with a larger Comp Cams camshaft. The engine has a very noticeable lope to the idle and sounds like a good muscle car should.

The TH400 transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts properly. The 'YH' coded 3.55 Safe-T-Track differential is a much appreciated option with the extra power of the HO.

The cooling system has been upgraded with a larger radiator and an auxiliary electric fan for low speed cruising.

Out on the road the car feels great. The steering fells nice and crisp. The  suspension has been upgraded and keeps the car planted and the addition of a large rear sway bar really helps in the corners.

Whether you are looking for a rare classic or a fun driver, this car fills both needs perfectly.
