This is truly an eye catching Bronco. The Synergy Green paint has a life all its own that really can’t be caught by a camera. Your eyes can’t help but be drawn to it. The black accents really make the whole package pop.

The paint is a few years old and still presents well. The doors open and close easily, which is not common on Broncos. High end add ons like the H4 headlights, billet headlight bezels, Tom’s Impact Bumpers and a nice urethane fender flares really round out the custom look. The appearance overall is quite nice but by no means perfect. This one was built and has seen use as a driver. It sits in that perfect spot where it is easily nice enough for a constant stream of compliments but not too nice to drive & enjoy.

The door glass that is so often scratched, pitted & aged has been replaced. The door glass regulators, slides & seals were all replaced as well. The Windshield was also replaced along with a new weathers trip as well. These are expensive items easily overlooked when you are not focused on them but really make a difference when you look at the overall quality & function.

The interior is fresh from Tom’s Broncos parts bin. New seats, door panels, carpet, steering wheel, 6-point family cage & shoulder harness belts at all 4 corners look great. The dash was stripped & painted in Synergy Green and filled with a Dakota Digital dash & a Kenwood Deck. Under the carpet the floors were lined with a Dyna Mat style sound deadener as well as another layer of padding & sound deadener to help minimize road noise & heat transfer.

The engine was recently rebuilt and has a few performance upgrades. A high rise dual plane aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor sits up top along with an electronic ignition system. The camshaft has a nice lope to the idle and a great exhaust note thanks to the long tube headers & Flowmaster mufflers. Power is estimated at 275 Horsepower which is about double the original 139 Horsepower it was rated at when new. A new high performance aluminum radiator & shroud help keep this Bronco cool in all situations.

The suspension lift was sourced from Tom’s as well. It is a Stage 4 2.5” lift. It utilizes new spring, bushings, shocks & hardware. At the same time a new adjustable track bar, steering linkage and a rebuilt steering box from Red Head Steering were installed. We just installed radius arm drop brackets to get the alignment needed for our driving standards. This one tracks straight on the road with nice responsive steering you want with quick back to center steering.

The wiring system was replaced with a complete Centech harness. The Centech units are made specifically for the Bronco and are a quality assembly that updates the system with modern fuses as well as full length labeled wiring so there is never any confusion to which wire is which.

This Bronco comes equipped with a nice Bestop soft top. These are very nice fitting tops with quality seals. The windows zip in/out quickly for on the fly sunny day cruising. Also included is a ‘Safari Top’ that allows all the fresh air in while providing shade for the passengers. Both tops are easily installed & removed.

So if you are in the market for a very fun & updated Bronco and don’t want to break the bank on a $85k restoration take a good look at this one.
