This is a very fun & functional Muscle Car. Wearing what appears to be its original Cortez Silver paint (with some touch ups), this Chevelle has been very well preserved.

 

Overall this car is extremely solid & rust free. The trunk pan appears to be in excellent condition with what appears to be the original spatter paint. The doors & windows close like a very low mile original, crisp & positive.

 

Inside the interior has gorgeous bucket seat interior complete with bucket seats, console and a Super Sport Dash cluster complete with tachometer. The trim panels fit well with only minor signs of use. Very nice interior overall.

 

Under the hood lives a 454 Cubic Inch Torque Monster. It runs excellent with a nice lope to the idle and prodigious power everywhere in the rpm range. It is backed by a close ratio 4-speed with Hurst Linkage. The transmission shifts nicely and the gears come quick thanks to the close ratio.

 

The rear differential is a SS spec 12 bolt unit with a reported 3.31 ratio. It works nicely and has the strength to deal with all that torque.

This Chevelle has been upgraded with new coil springs, shocks & rear sway bar. Corners are no longer a scary prospect and the car really handles confidently with the 17” tire & wheel package.

 

Overall this is a very cool Muscle Car in its original Cortez Silver and a 454 Big Block 4 speed combo. It looks good enough to draw tons of attention and drives well enough to keep you coming back time & again.
