This is a great looking and well optioned ’69 Mach 1. With Front & Rear Spoilers, Window Louvers and a Shaker Ram Air system this Mach 1 looks fast just sitting still. This one sits in the hard to find position between a project car and a too nice to drive garage queen. It is nice enough to show off, but not too nice to enjoy without feeling guilty.
The paint is a few years old and was done to be a driver, not a show car. As such there are some imperfections. It has also seen some road use so there are the normal stone chips and such. This was not a high end paint job. This Mach was produced and sold in the San Jose, California area so it is a good, solid example. The floors, quarters & frame rails appear to be the originals. We have found no obvious signs of collision damage.
Inside the interior looks great with very nice & fresh front seat upholstery complete with new seat buns. The rest of the interior is still mostly original with some wear, but is still quite presentable.
Under the hood, or actually poking through it, is a 351 Windsor 4V complete with a Shaker Ram Air Induction System. The engine runs excellent and has surprisingly good power. It fires up easily and sounds great too.
The Factory Power Steering & Power Disc Brakes are highly prized options that really make a difference in the way these cars drive & are enjoyed. The Heavy Duty Mach 1 Suspension makes for a very capable driver that handles corners flat, brakes well and is a breeze to drive.
The Magnum 500’s are 15” units that are in good condition. The car has a great stance and a fantastic look and sound. Be ready to impress your neighbors with this one, roaring down the road.
