Looking for a Bronco that you can take to Moab and not leave half of your paint on the rocks? Take a good look at this one.

Its not a big secret Bronco's are a bit wider than Jeeps. They can easily hang with the Jeeps until the trail gets narrow, then its adios Broncos. The former owner of this one had that happen one time too many. He refused to bang his Bronco up so he narrowed it. It's such a clean job you will be hard pressed to notice the modification. It was done by removing 3" from the body on each side outboard of the frame mounts. So there was no modification done to the frame to accommodate the conversion so, if desired, the body could be replaced or converted back to the stock width.

The paint on this Bronco is surprisingly nice for what it was built for. The finish is nice and even with a good gloss. It comes with both 'smoothed' doors as well as roadster inserts, both nicely painted to match. Obviously this one has been used so there are some bumps & scratches but nothing very obvious. This one certainly looks good enough for street duty while not being too nice to enjoy.

Inside this one is all business. Suspension seats to save your back from a little too much air time on that sand dune or bouncing down a boulder path. The dash has a full compliment of aftermarket gauges & switches. An all-encompassing roll cage and harnesses give you some peace of mind.

Under the cowl hood the 302 is an HO unit from a Mustang complete with Ford EEC IV Mass Air system for the ultimate in reliability and serviceability. Ford made this system for years so your local parts store will have the parts and your local shop can work on it if ever needed. These engine were the powerhouse of the day and have an endless supply of aftermarket speed parts should you find yourself wanting more power. The C4 Automatic was built for severe duty and works beautifully. It has a super heavy duty cooler mounted behind the front seats.

Suspension wise this Bronco has some hardware. James Duff 'Long Travel' extended length radius arms are the most obvious upgrade. This kit gives the Bronco dramatically more wheel travel for serious off roading. Custom coil spring and dual shocks (at all 4 corners) with some big shock hoops help control all that extra range. The rear leaf springs are also specially equipped for extra travel. Steering wise this one has the 4x4x2 steering box with the heavy duty 'Bullet-Proof' steering linkage with some nice geometry so it drives quite nicely.

With all that suspension lift it can easily ride on the massive 37" Goodyear MTR tires. It does have a full size spare mounted inside the cab along with a hi-lift jack.

Just in case your Jeep buddies get stuck there is a Warn Winch with synthetic rope.
