This is a super fun Bronco. Recently repainted in Chrome Yellow and adorned in all new chrome moldings this Bronco is hard to miss. Everyone seems to smile and compliment this one. With a 2 1/2" suspension lift there is nothing scary or intimidating though it has plenty of room for the 32" BF Goodrich tires. This one is more than capable of mild to moderate off-roading, though it is aimed more at the beach or boulevard.
The body was just professionally repainted in the factory Chrome Yellow paint. This was a complete tear down with the fenders, grill, doors and tailgate removed for spraying. It presents very nicely and draws an incredible amount of attention. The moldings are all new, high quality reproductions. The chrome really sets off the yellow paint nicely. This is the one you can't help but love to see every time you walk up to it.
Inside the interior was nicely restored. The dash was stripped and repainted in body color. The dash bezels were replaced with new units and sparkle like diamonds on the dash. Seating is from Tom's Broncos with a gorgeous stitched finish on the front and the super durable denim on the back seat. The tub has been Rhino-Lined and a reproduction rubber mat installed in the front. New door panels were fitted and look great. The 4 point roll bar was powder coated and looks great.
Under the hood the 302 runs excellent. It is reported to have about 60k miles on a rebuild. It fires up easily and has very good power. The 3 speed transmission has been converted to a Hurst floor shift that works excellent. The clutch feels nice with no chatter and an easy pedal effort.
The brakes were upgraded to power with a conversion from Tom's Bronco Parts. The pedal effort is nice and even and stopping is no sweat.
On the highway the steering is tight & responsive. New steering linkage was added during the restoration. This one is much easier to drive than most Broncos. It tracks well down the highway enabling you to drive 60 mph with no drama.
