This '70 is in a pretty cool spot. Call it a 20 footer...at dusk. It still draws tons of attention and you will always be smiling walking up to it in a parking lot. You can drive this one...rock chips and door dings be damned. Another thing you can do...is afford it. Fastback's priced under $30k that actually run and drive are nearly unheard of in this day.

The body on this fastback is, in our opinion, begging to have its hairy winter coat sanded off to make room for a new summer coat of Candy Apple Red. The panels line up fairly well and there are no obvious signs of prior serious collision. The current paint is thick and has plenty of scratches and paint failures due to time & Washington state moisture. This one could easily be driven as-is and would garner way more thumbs up and attention than pretty much any 2022 Mustang.

Inside, well the bones are good. The interior is all there but its old n tired. Just the way you want for the 'before' pic. The hard to find bucket seats are there and it doesn't look any of the prior ADHD owners got a sawzall for Christmas.

Under the hood the 302 has been upgraded with an aluminum intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor. The engine fires up easily and sounds quite nice. No receipt documentation was given on rebuilds or prior history. The C4 automatic transmission goes into gear quickly and functions properly.

Corrosion wise this Mustang falls into the 'normal' category for the Pacific Northwest. The floors do have some rust perforations on the front pans and a bit of rust on the rear of each torque box and in the passenger rear drop off. Frame rails all seem solid and straight.
