The Bandit, a bit older and more distinguished, looks great in white.

These T/A's are hard to find in original condition. This one still runs and drives surprisingly well. So many have been thoroughly enjoyed to the point of exhaustion and missing their original components with little hope of restoration. This example however, retains much of its original components. Take a good look at the photos.

It's hard not to love old paint and classic decals. This one has a great look with nice straight panels, good body gaps and an Iconic Shaker poking through the hood. The body is quite solid with very little rust for the breed. The paint appears to be a single repaint with some peeling clear coat. There is some rust in the lower quarter panels behind the wheel wells, otherwise this one is rock solid. The floors and trunk pan are among the nicest we have seen. The 'B' pillars appear to be rust free as well. Still easily nice enough for a no guilt driver while you plan & prepare for your restoration or resto-mod.

Inside, the interior appears to be all original. Obviously the driver's seat is in need of help while the passenger and rear seat present well. The factory deep pile carpet is surprisingly good. With some primping & touch up and a pair of front seat covers this interior would be quite presentable. The machine turned instrument cluster is there with the original gauges. Unfortunately, the common failing needle has visited the speedo so it will need servicing.

Under the hood, this one appears to be as delivered. Thankfully everything seems to be working properly and it really does run well. No valvetrain or noise issues, just a good 70's rumble. The transmission shifts properly and the brakes aren't too shabby either.

Sooo, if you are Trans Am Curious give this one a look. It has some nice bones.
