When it comes to the desirable options, this Bronco checks a lot of boxes. From the beautiful paint to the updated wiring it doesn't leave much to be desired.

 

This '66 is a beautiful example. The Oxford White paint was just professionally done. The panels line up well and the paint finish is quite nice. A new Rampage soft top looks great and is extremely quick & easy to remove. New 'Impact' series bumpers from Tom's not only look good, they are quite functional with THICK steel plating. The LED projector headlights are extremely bright and are a nice accent.

Inside, the seating is from Tom's. With extended seat rails this one is comfortable for the tallest of drivers. The rear seat is a fold n tumble unit with integrated headrests. The tub was completely bedlined for easy clean up from summer frolics. The cage is a 'Family Style' unit that extends past the rear seat. A tilt column was added that makes getting in and out much easier for the driver.

Under the hood lives a torque rich 351 Windsor. It has been upgraded with an aluminum intake manifold and performance ignition. The transmission has been upgraded to a 4 speed with compound low making hill starts a breeze. The transfer case has been upgraded to the stronger 205 unit as well. The stock Dana 30 was tossed out and a high pinion Dana 44 was installed.

Braking was upgraded to a full 4 Wheel Disc Brake kit, a HUGE upgrade over the original 4 wheel drum set up.

​

Steering has been greatly upgraded as well. The system is now power and uses 1 ton steering gear. The early Broncos used notoriously flimsy steering gear. With this system in place there is none of the common deflection so it drives much better.

​

The electrical system has been completely replaced with a Centech unit. It has modern fuses and best of all replaced all the 50 year old wiring.

​

The suspension has been upgraded with a 3 1/2" suspension lift. The radius arms were replaced with longer units for better suspension travel and front end alignment. With all of the suspension and steering upgrades this is a much more capable Bronco than you would ever put the beautiful paint through.
