Here we have another stalled restoration project, but this one is quite unique! The 1st year of the GMC sprint was 1971 and this one shows to be the 34th produced. We checked and double checked the El Camino/Sprint Registry, and this is the lowest number GMC Sprint that we could find. Documentation is lacking however this very well could be one of the first out for production! Originally Cottonwood Green with No Vinyl Top Exterior, and Dark Jade Interior we have decided to call this the Lean Mean Green Machine!

Now the Majority of the hard work has been done, The Floors and Bed metal have been replaced and look great, No rust is seen anywhere. The original fenders are still hanging but a new cowl hood has been installed (and painted) and new fenders are included but have yet to be installed. No signs of any major collision, the Left Front headlight bucket trim on the fender has been cut away for unknown reasons which is why the new fenders are included. After Installing the new fenders and a little prep work your gonna be ready for paint!

The Interior is small and very simple to replace, No carpet is installed but you can see the floors are new and in great shape. The dash components are there and all the A/C under dash components are included (the engine A/C components will need to be purchased separately). All the glass is installed and operates smoothly. It appears the they were doing an Interior color change to black and you can see some residual of the interior dye.

The Engine is a Big Block 402 (non-numbers matching) paired to an automatic transmission. The engine is currently installed but will need finished, however using an external fuel source the engine starts up and runs great. This is being sold as a non driving project car, but we did have to verify the engine ran with no abnormal noises. The Brakes and misc reassembly will be needed for this to become a driver. The Chassis looks great with no rust seen and Goodyear Polyglass Tires are installed on the factory 15" rallye wheels with a matching spare.

Lots of new parts are included with a complete list of parts below, This is a quick inventory of parts but I'm sure that there are new parts that aren't listed. New parts include:
