Looking for a fun cruiser that you won't see at every show? Don't want to drop a king's ransom? Take a good look at this 500XL. It has cool classic lines, miles of chrome trim, a Powerful Z-Code 390 with 427lb/ft or torque, Bucket Seats, Floor Shift Console and White-Wall Tires. 

The body on this Galaxie is straight and crisp. The paint is older and there has been some touch ups as seen in the pics. It can easily be used as is for now and if you wanted to take a step up you could paint it next winter.

Inside the interior is complete and looks pretty nice given that it is nearly 60 years old. Right now it is pretty liberating being able to jump in from the beach a bit sandy with some damp shorts with no guilt. Save the worry for after its restored.

Under the hood the 390 fires up easily and runs great. Its basically all stock under here with the exception of a new 4 barrel carburetor that was just installed.

This Galaxie is optioned with Power Steering and Power Brakes. These two options really make this car easy to live with. Braking & steering require little effort. The braking system has been disassembled and serviced. 

The tires were also just replaced with new units.
