Beautiful Real Deal '66 GT Mustang. Optioned in Spring Time Yellow with Parchment Pony Interior this is a clean looking Coupe. The excellent running 289 4V A-Code engine appears to be the original 'born with' one with the correct assembly date code and even the correct carburetor. The Steering box is an HCC AX which is unique to GT's as it is the 16/1 ratio manual steering. Also supporting the GT heritage are the Kelsey Hayes Disc Brakes, dual exhaust exit valance, fog lights and exhaust hanger frame rail stiffeners on the driver's side. 

 This GT hails from Montana where it has spent its life free of salt and protected inside a garage from bitter cold winters. The original floors while dusty don't show any obvious signs of rust or corrosion as you can see from the pics. The only obvious corrosion appears to be in the passenger front fender and a small spot on the passenger rear quarter just in front of the rear tire, see pics. This is especially common in Montana as many roads back in the 60's & 70's were dirt or gravel. Overall though, this is a very solid car.    

The interior was restored several years ago with new seat upholstery, carpet and trim. It still looks great and is quite comfortable.
