This Bronco embodies all that is cool about the Classic Bronco with a modern touch. Plenty of chrome & bright-work compliment tinted windows, LED headlights and 17" wheels. This one sounds just as good as it looks as well and is an easy highway cruiser. This one was built to be a nice driver.
Painted in House of Colors Starburst Blue this Bronco is a site to behold. In the sunlight the metal flake makes the Bronco radiate light. With any cloud cover or inside the metal flake disappears. The paint is quite nice but not perfect. The top has new glass and seals installed. New chrome bumpers and highly polished aluminum wheels really show off the colors too. High end chrome headlights with LED bulbs will light up the darkest night.
Inside seating from Tom's Bronco Parts is both luxurious and comfortable providing leg room for the tallest drivers. The front seats fully recline and the rear seats fold flat & tumble forward. The rear seat also has integrated headrests for whiplash protection, a must have for rear seat passengers. The floors have been carpeted and have a fiber insulation for heat & sound management.
Under the hood a 5.0 has been upgraded with AFR aluminum cylinder heads, roller rockers, performance cam and intake manifold. Pro M custom calibrated air meter and 30lb/hr injectors were just installed. Fuel Injection is handled via a Ford EEC IV system for its excellent performance and ease of parts replacement. The engine fires up easily and sounds amazing with a nice lope and deep note to the idle. The C4 Transmission was rebuilt and works nicely.
The front brakes were upgraded with a Premium conversion from Tom's Bronco Parts. The kit includes new brake booster, master cylinder, hubs, calipers, rotors, brackets, hoses, proportioning valve, bearings and hubs. The brakes really work nice.
Power Steering is a must have option that works beautifully.
With the EFI the system has a single high pressure line with a low pressure return. Due to this only the rear tank is used.
The suspension has a 3" lift with Cage shock hoops in front. New front suspension bushings were installed as well as shocks all the way around. The body was also lifted 1" with new body to frame spacers to allow enough hood clearance for the fuel injection.
The wheels are Raceline Rock Crushers measuring 17"x9" with 275 85 Toyo AT II tires. They fit nicely and the Toyo tires do an excellent job both on and off road.
