This is the car that Steve McQueen should have driven to catch that Charger. Although, that would have made for a very short movie. This ’68 Fastback Bullitt comes with a nickname, Hollow Point.

Beyond its impressive Marti-Report Verified equipment, this GT Fastback has been upgraded with a 500+ Horsepower 502 Cubic Inch Big Block, Power Rack & Pinion Steering
and Power 4-Wheel Disc Brakes. There is even a line-lock for the front brakes, not that this car needs any help smoking the tires.

The body on this GT is in good condition. The paint shows well but does have the expected imperfections of an older repaint. The panel alignments are good and the doors open and close easily. This is the perfect no guilt driver, not a trailer queen & not a show car. No squirming when molten rubber is splashing up on a $15k paint job, just smile & enjoy the rubber smoke.

Inside the interior is well optioned with a factory 8k RPM Tachometer. The tachometer still functions but was never meant for an engine to gain RPM this fast. Many services are available to add to correct movements to keep up with a
 true performance engine.

The RARE factory headrest bucket seats with their one year only 2 post design are still present. We have sold HUNDREDS of Mustangs in the last 4 years and this is the first to come with them. The rear seat is also the desirable Fold-Down seat. The dash bezels, door panels, carpet, etc have been replaced and look great.

The engine displaces 502 Cubic Inches and has approximately 400 miles on the build. It comes with full receipt documentation of the components as well as photo documentation of the build. It is estimated to make well over 500 horsepower and one quick drive lets you know that this is for real. The stroker kit is from Scat with a 4.150 stroke, 6.700” I-Beam rods and a 4.390” bore with SRP

Forged Pistons yielding 10.43 to 1 compression. The reciprocating assembly was fully matched & balanced by Scat. The block was machined at Blue Mountain Machine in La Grande, Oregon. There they installed ARP main studs then performed the line bore, deck surfaces, magna-flux & boring done at Blue Mountain Machine in La Grande, Oregon.

The cylinder heads are the famous Police Interceptors with larger 2.25”/1.75” intake & exhaust valves. The cam is a
Comp Cam with .562/.565 lift with 274/268 Duration on a 108 lobe separation angle, basically it has a nice lope to the idle and makes power everywhere. People love it, tires hate it.

To keep up with the engine the transmission has been upgraded with a 2500 rpm stall, shift kit and heavy duty converter. It works excellent and is tough enough to live behind the beast.

The rear differential has been upgraded to a stronger housing that has been fitted with a 3.25 Traction Lock Differential and 31 Spline heavy duty axles with stronger
wheel studs.

With well over 500 horsepower you are going to need some extra braking. The factory front disc set ups work great and to that has been added rear disc brakes.

The whole system works seamlessly together for confident stops from triple digit speeds.

Speaking of triple digit speeds, nobody likes those with sloppy 1968 vintage steering. I am sure Steve himself would have enjoyed this Power Rack & Pinion set
up. The car tracks well down the road with excellent assist in the tight spots.

This car combines the good looks of the original Bullitt car, a real GT Pedigree and a fire breathing 502 Cubic Inch Big Block. This car was built to drive and perform.

It is a solid example that is a proven performer. There is a ton of documentation on the recent engine build and a Marti Report as well.
