RS/SS 396 Trim!
Gorgeous Hugger Orange Paint
Black Bucket Seat Interior
4 Speed Muncie
12 Bolt Posi Differential

This 2nd Gen 1970 split bumper Camaro is sporting RS/SS 396 trim and is one beautiful car! The Hugger Orange paint and white stripes shine beautifully.  The rear spoiler is a perfect fit for the gorgeous body lines.  The Chrome shows nicely, trim looks good and the body is overall very straight. You have to look hard to find blemishes with this one.

As you roll to the inside, the interior looks and feels solid. The factory bucket seats are comfortable and in great shape as are the rear seats.  The windows roll up and down with ease, the headliner is nice and tight and everything is in order.  You'll also find a "newer" stereo installed.

The 396 fires right up with ease and idles nicely with just a hint of a cam lope. This is the correct casting number and date code for the car but the CKO stampings on the front of the block are not GM stampings. This is a 2-bolt main block such as the 330 and 360HP engines had, which is the same casting number as a 375HP 4 bolt but without the extra machining the L78 blocks received. The current cylinder heads & intake manifold are oval port, which could easily be replaced with new 'Rectangle Port' components for surprisingly affordable prices. This would dramatically improve performance (as well as the 'Cool Factor') and take some weight off the front end for better handling.

The Muncie works properly though the shifter is a bit 'notchy' which can be typical for the Hurst units.

This one is equipped with Power Front Disc Brakes that work nicely. Stops are quick & confident.

The rear differential is a 12 bolt unit that was reportedly just rebuilt.

The wheels are the stock 15x7" Rally wheels. The tires, while in decent shape, are older as this car hasn't seen much street use in the last 10 years. We have a set on order currently and will have them installed as soon as they come in.

This Camaro is ready to hit the streets or your local car show - it's begging to be driven and appreciated!

As always, it's difficult to capture every feature so call or email us with questions!
