Very Solid & Well Preserved Car

This Cyclone was part of a huge collection of high performance Ford's that only recently came available. This collection housed some of the rarest & most desirable Fords & Mercurys ever made. This one had been shelved since the 1980's preserving the original components.

The body obviously has dents, dings and scratches. However the hard parts to find are all still there and repairable. Even the hand fabricated front bumper is there with all of its correct brackets & filler panels are present and in good condition. The car does not appear to have any extensive rust beyond some minor issues. The floors look surprisingly good for the breed and the trunk pan is outstanding. This car would be a great candidate to clear coat and drive as-is.

Inside the interior is obviously worn by time. The components are all there and they are for the most part all correctly reproduced for a straight forward restoration. The lower rear seat was missing for some reason so we dyed another one to match.

Under the hood the original 351 Windsor 4 Barrel has been completely rebuilt. When the car came to us the piston rings had seized from sitting so a proper rebuild was in order. We went stock for the most part except for a slightly larger camshaft and hardened valve seats. All new valves, springs, locks & retainers were used in the heads. A full spec sheet is included with car. Also, the engine does come with a very comprehensive & transferable warranty.

Due to the length of storage we replaced the calipers and master cylinder. We also repacked the bearings. The brakes work excellent and the car does drive nicely.

Brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's were installed on the factory Styled Steel Wheels. The tires are 215 70 14's for the proper height and width for a stock look and great traction.

The Cyclone II's are widely regarded as being undervalued. A similar Mopar Offering would bring in the $100k price range. This car represents a very rare find as well as an excellent investment.

There is a lot to talk about on this one!
