This '76 is a great pickup. It is the F150 version that rides and drives quite nicely. The Highboys get all the attention but after 5 minutes of bouncing on old school 3/4 ton suspension you've quite had enough. The F100's received much lighter springs making for a much nicer experience. After all, most of these trucks will never again see the extreme duty people once used them for. If you want to tow a boat, jet-skis or a load of whatever...chances are this F150 wouldn't even break a sweat. The 360 is economical but isn't a big powerhouse. Fortunately it is equipped with the 4 speed transmission featuring a compound low. So getting up that boat launch is as easy as letting your foot off the clutch. Options like the power steering and power front disc brakes make this one a very enjoyable driver.

Being an Eastern Washington pickup it wasn't subjected to the wet Western Washington weather. As such is is very solid example. The prior owner had an inexpensive repaint done to keep the metal sealed. This is a driver quality and there are imperfections.

Overall though, this one presents quite well and would make a great start to a collection as it is.
