This ’70 Mach just looks right. Dropped down low in Raven Black with spoilers, louvers & a shaker it doesn’t get any BADDER than this. If this look doesn’t hit you somewhere deep down inside, go see your doctor.
The paint on this Mach looks great. The panels are quite straight and line up well. The trim is mostly original and in good condition. This one is easily nice enough for a weekend cruizer and will be the star of the show at most weekend gatherings. Inside the interior is trimmed out beautifully in Factory Style Mach 1 upholstery. The upholstery fits nice & snug over the high back buckets. The Mach 1 trim with wood grain accents is in good condition and adds a touch of class.
The Vintage Air system upgrades the standard air conditioning to R-134 and uses a modern A/C pump. This system works nicely and really makes a difference in an all black car.
Under the hood a BOSS 351 Engine has been added complete with Factory Screw-In Guide Plates, Factory Aluminum Intake Manifold, 4-Bolt Mains & Forged Pistons. This BOSS runs true to its title as the ‘fastest small block production 4-seat production car.’
The car drives excellent thanks to the factory Mach 1 ‘Competition Suspension’. The steering is vastly upgraded thanks to a Power Rack & Pinion system. The steering is crisp & precise on the road with just the right amount of assist. The car really inspires you to drive. The Power Disc Brakes haul the car down from speed predictably & confidently. The 351 rewards you with a nice light feel & power everywhere in the RPM range.
The C-67 Wheels are 17x8 in the front & 17x9 in the rear. The tires are from Cooper and stick very well in the corners and the 275 40’s do their best off the line. Tire spin is easily enough induced with a stab of throttle making sideways antics just a blip away.
