This is one of the most-striking 1970 Mach 1's we have had in quite a while. The paint color is Bright Calypso from the 1993 Ford lineup. The car gets a ton of attention. Brand new Magnum 500 wheels & white letter tires and a great stance round out the look.

If you are a late 69/70 Mustang enthusiast think of it as a cross between Gulfstream Aqua and Grabber Green. The color makes a ton of sense on this car. The car appears to have been repainted right around the mid-90's so there are some imperfections that are well pictured in the photos. This one is best left as a driver in our opinion as it really does look amazing and has just enough imperfections to make a it a no-guilt driver.

The body is typical of a PNW car as it has had front floor pans and lower rear quarter replacements, done back in the mid 90's. The floors are still solid as is the driver's rear quarter repair. The passenger side seams were suspect down low so the paint has bubbled. It's down low and not very noticeable walking around the car.

Inside the black interior still presents nicely from its 90's restoration. The door panels appear to have been replaced and still look nice. The carpet shows only very minor wear as do the front seats but all are quite presentable. The rear seat does have a bit more wear as it is the original.

Under the hood the 351 Cleveland wears the 2V cylinder heads with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Brawler Carburetor and dual exhaust. The engine has a nice deep idle with a hint of a lope, sounds perfect. It's not a drag car but will happily turn the tires if asked.

Being a Mach 1 it has the Competition Suspension with larger front sway bar, rear sway bar and higher rate springs. The shock towers braces have been replaced with a 1-piece 'Export Brace' to keep the shock towers located. With these components the Mach 1's really handle quite well. Add in the KYB shocks and you have a corner carver on your hands.

This one is optioned nicely with Power Steering and Power Front Disc Brakes. The front calipers were just replaced along with new hoses.

The Magnum 500's are brand new 15" x 7" units wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires, 235 & 255 60's.
