This is a rare opportunity on a verified '68 GT Fastback. This one came from the factory in the same Highland Green as the original Bullitt car. Remnants can still be seen in the trunk and package tray areas. Years ago it was repainted in a Midnight Blue Metallic which does look quite nice on the car. It is an older repaint so there are some imperfections but from 10 feet it is truly stunning. The chrome & bright trim are all in good condition as well. A lone bubble on the drivers front door corner is pictured otherwise the panels appear to be rust free.

Inside the car has what appears to be fresh upholstery on the front seats, newer door panels and fresh decor dash bezels. The carpet and rear seat do show some wear but are still presentable. The fold down rear seat works nicely and is a desirable feature.

Under the hood the 302 has been fitted with an aluminum intake, electronic ignition and long tube headers. The engine fires up nicely and has a nice, deep note to the idle. The C4 goes into gear quickly and has a nice firm shift. The 3.25 Traction Lock 9" axle works well too. The combination really is a nice street friendly package.

The braking was upgraded with Wilwood disc in the front while retaining the original drum brakes in the rear. The front suspension was upgraded to a coil over setup. The ride is nice & firm, but not abusive. Kind of the Goldilocks zone of performance. 

15" Torque Thrust style wheels with black sidewalls harken back the the Bullitt car. They fit well with no rubbing issues which are common with these style wheels. 

There is a large file of receipts with this car. History like this is rare and highly appreciated for the where & when of services and modifications.

Overall this is a great get-in-and-go package. Plenty of performance to keep you interested but so much that you come home with a new officers signature every time you go out. At the same time you have a GT pedigree and a solid Fastback...this is investment grade fun!
