This is a super car for us to have in stock. These cars were rare back in the day and have since almost become myth. Many of them never received their side decals so later owners weren't even aware they had something special on their hands. This Torino was special ordered in Boise where it was received by the owner on May 20th 1968 and lived there since. This one was used sparingly and only shows 35k miles on the clock. It is quite stock right down to the original 'born with' mufflers & exhaust. The numbers matching 390 fires up easily and runs excellent. 

Body wise, you would be hard pressed to find a finer original example. The passenger side was repainted but no damage to the body is evident. There was some paint flaking on the old repaired section so the areas were stripped & repainted. The drivers side is still all original down to the striping, which is showing some age but heck its original. We did add the reproduction pace car decals in between. The car does look amazing but there are imperfections from stone chips, small dings, etc. Keep in mind it is 55 years old. So for a sunny day driver or weekend cruiser it would be perfect. 

Due to the dry desert heat in Boise the original convertible top and seat tops took some sun damage. We replaced the top with a quality reproduction as well as the front seat upholstery and carpet. There was a replacement panel done on the rear seat upper. Otherwise the interior is pretty much as delivered. The instrumentation on this car looks amazing and the factory tachometer still functions nicely. The convertible top functions properly too.

The wheels were powder-coated for durability and new 225 70 14 tires installed. The trim rings and center caps are in great condition.

The 390 is the numbers matching original and believed to have only 38k original miles. It fires up easily and sounds great. The engine compartment has been cleaned up to factory specs and some reproduction decals were added.
