This truck underwent a restoration of sorts. It included taking the truck to bare metal and then an amateur repaint. The engine was rebuilt with a host of performance upgrades. The interior had a freshening as well. While not a show truck it has a great look, no looming projects and a ton of new parts.

 

The truck is a good looking example of a classic Bump-Side. The previous owner stripped the truck to bare metal and performed a repaint in the current gray. This was not a professional quality job but it presents fine. Should the new owner want to do some corrections there is more paint included with the truck. The side moldings have been polished & the red lines really bring it out. All in all a fun looking driver.

 

Inside saw some love as well. Work consisted of new seat upholstery, floor mat, dash cover and custom headliner. All of which really helps freshen the look. The seat is comfortable and the looks are classic. The headliner features built-in speakers and a spot for a single DIN stereo setup, though no stereo has been installed yet.

Under the hood the 390 has been rebuilt with Edelbrock Performer components including RPM cylinder heads, aluminum intake manifold and a Performer Plus camshaft. This is an excellent combination for a pickup with a great torque producing camshaft, performance cylinder heads with hardened seats for unleaded fuel. This one fires up easily and runs quite well.
