This is a really cool truck that brings you back in time with just a glance. The Silverados were top of the line trucks with all the creature comforts like Air Conditioning, Tilt Steering Column, Power Windows & Door Locks, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes and more. This one checks all of those boxes and has survived much better than most.
The body is quite solid, with very minimal rust. The paint is older but shines very well. Panels are straight and even the bed floor is in great shape. Some moldings have been changed but fit well.
Inside the interior appears to be the 'Born-With' upholstery. There is of course wear from 40+ years but it presents very well. The seat is comfortable with no visible tears or damage. The instrumentation all looks good and works properly.
Under the hood the optional 454 fires up very nicely and runs smoothly. Many of these trucks were 350's and in the days of low compression you Really Wanted the 454 if you wanted any semblance of power.
The optional Power Disc Brakes and Power Steering work great and make this a very easy truck to drive for drivers with nearly any experience level.
The air conditioning system is complete but will need serviced prior to use.
The Power Windows work nicely.
