Meet Hazel, a one family Fairlane from sunny and dry Eastern Washington.  The original owner purchased her as their first new car, and their son purchased Hazel from his mom and dad years later.  Hazel is a very solid and fun to drive 1967 Ford Fairlane 500, 2 door hardtop bench seat with a 289 V8 and auto trans.  The motor and trans were rebuilt about 18 years ago.  With only 10k miles since the rebuild, it runs and idles excellent.

At about the same time as the motor/trans rebuild, she received a repaint in the original springtime yellow color.  There are some minor imperfections in the paint, but it shines nicely and the moldings show well.  The engine bay is dressed cleanly in stock fashion with bright Ford blue accentuating her 289 V8 powered heart. Hazel is no trailer queen but her natural good looks will turn heads.

The interior is neat and clean with a re-upholstered front bench seat.  The original radio functions, windows roll up and down smoothly and the comfy bench seat welcomes you in with a feel of more simple times.

The undercarriage is as you would expect from the sunny & dry side of the state. There is some peeling factory undercoat and a little dirt but amazingly there is very little in the way of corrosion besides a few pinholes in the drivers front floor pan.

This Fairlane is the perfect blend of classic V8 power, simplicity, style and fun.  Hit the local car show, rally with your friends or take the family on a long Sunday cruise to get away from it all.  Hazel is ready to get back on the road!
