1979 was the first year for the F350 4x4 with only 10,811 produced. Only 23% of these had the exterior molding option making this one of the rarest & most desirable F350's produced.

This example has somehow survived until now without any visible collision damage or the rust so common in trucks. The cab, including the floors & door corners is simply amazing. The Royal Maroon paint is fairly recent and is a nice driver quality. The complete grill with shell was just replaced with a new unit and it looks amazing. The rest of the body moldings are original with some minor dings, but overall its a nice truck.

Under the hood the 400 has been detailed nicely. We were not provided with any documentation of rebuild. It does run well and sounds good too. Everything under the hood appears to be in order. The original air conditioning pump was removed and did not come with the truck. Several aftermarket companies offer modern ac pump kits to replace the factory pump.

Inside the interior is quite nice. A recently reupholstered front seat is comfortable & great looking. The carpet was also replaced. The factory headliner and door panels are in good condition. A rare option is the cowboy hat holder fastened to the headliner trim.

The tires are BF Goodrich All Terrains and are in excellent condition, 90%+. These are the same tires as the F150 Raptor. They drive nice out on the road and are quiet too.

The bed has a nice cover that folds forward for hauling. Its a nice looking piece that keeps your loads and for that matter the bed of the truck dry.
