This wonderful, Factory Candy Apple Red 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale and ready to be driven and enjoyed! It's a good looking car all around although a few minor blemishes are seen. The Body is straight and it still wears it's factory aprons. A brand New White power Top has been installed as well as a new Windshield. The rest of the glass is in good shape, and all windows work as they should. Typical light bubbling is seen on the front lower corner of the driver door, but no other bubbling is seen.

The Interior has been freshened up with brand new dash bezels as well as the clear gauge lenses resulting in crystal clear gauges to look at. Also the steering wheel horn pad has been restored with new trim, no more flaking/dull chrome! The seats and carpet are in good shape and very presentable as-is the rest of the interior.

The engine is a 302ci V8 that runs and drives great. Included with the car is the Original Vin Stamped J-code 302, however we do not know why it was removed originally. The transmission shifts great and power is transferred to the ground through a 3.00:1 Conventional Rear diff. As a bonus, this car is equipped with factory power steering, only making it more enjoyable to drive.

The chassis is actually in rather good shape. it appears to be factory original floors, and they were once undercoated, however under the undercoat you can still clearly see the factory red oxide. The torque boxes and rockers are all solid which is a common rust point on these convertibles. The front end feels very tight and responsive, and there is very low mileage on the rebuilt front suspension.
