Excellent Running 302ci V8

3-Speed Manual Transmission

Looking for something to do while we are all in quarantine and don't want to break the bank? This might just be the cure to your boredom or be the key to your survival because your going to have some work to do in the garage. This little jewel in the (very) rough is actually a really good runner. Hard to believe but it starts incredibly easy and charges around the parking lot with enough authority to catch even the most nimble Corona-Zombies. We have even heard...Bronco rust kills the Corona virus...probably just a rumor...but nobody I know with a rusty Bronco has it. Coincidence? You decide.

The body obviously has its challenges. There is rust in all the normal areas, good thing is every piece on this one is available from the reproduction market. You can even have a whole body shipped to you. Currently though you can take on any make-shift road blocks 'The Man' uses to keep you in your neighborhood. Take a look at the pictures and if you don't see what you need, please let us know.

Under the hood, is the star of the show. The 302 actually runs really well. It starts easy, sounds great and is the one piece you shouldn't have to get into. The 3 speed manual transmission goes into gear and appears to function properly. We haven't spent any road time on it though. The Dana 20 shifts ok so you should be good to go there. The front axle is a Dana 30 and the rear is of course a 9".

The brakes are the stock drum on all 4 corners. They work around the parking lot but I would recommend a complete brake service before you brave the now deserted highways which one day will hopefully return to their former parking lots of honking horns & overactive middle fingers.

Make no mistake. Do not be deceived by the shiny paint and laser straight body. This is a project. Unless you are like us, you will not be sporting this at your local burger joint this weekend or probably next. It needs some TLC before any of that.
