This 1967 Mercury Marquis 2 door Hardtop is Semi-Special as it was special ordered for either a Ford/Mercury/Lincoln Management or employee or even a Special Demonstration/Promo car and was not offered to the public right off the line. Also another interesting fact is this Particular car rolled off the assembly line on October 31st, 1967 per the door data tag.

The Exterior was finished in Dark Green Metallic and looks good and appears to be straight, doors open and close good and body gaps are line up well. The Front bumper shows some light damage on the bottom side and the rear bumper shows rust below both taillights. The Vinyl top shows no indication of bubbling underneath, but a tear is seen above the drivers door.

The Interior is Dark IVY Gold Cloth/Vinyl and is in good shape, the seats show no rips or tears. The Carpet does show some staining as does the rear deck-shelf, also general wear is seen throughout the interior as expected for a 51 year old car.This Particular car is optioned with intermittent wipers, Tilt Steering, and even an 8-track player. All the glass is good and windows all open/close as they should.

The Engine is a Torque-Rich 410ci 4V V8 engine and runs great, and Paired behind it is an Automatic C6 Transmission. The car seems to drive well, however some attention is needed to the brakes before the car should be driven on the street. The Chassis Does show rust in typical places, including the frame rails. Pictures of the chassis can be seen above to show the degree of rust.

The Rims are the factory 15" Steelies with all Original Hubcaps intact. The Spare is located in the trunk with a 5th hubcap which has been previously repaired. 215/75R16 Tires are mounted with white wall side facing out.

 

The Differential is a Standard 2.8:1 Ratio Conventional Diff
